Centralia Bond Looks to Make Sewer and Water System Upgrades

The city of Centralia will be looking to address there aging water treatment facility with a revenue bond issue on the April ballot.

Centralia City Administrator Matt Harline says there current water treatment facility is over 36 years old.

Harline says if the voters approve the issue the sewer and water bills would increase around 3 dollars more per month, per household, however he says it is completely necessary to provide clean and safe drinking water in the future.
