A Boone County Deputy has been presented with the Life Saving Award for quick action that saved the life of a 2 year old girl earlier this year.
29 year old Trenton Marshall-Isom was doing his usual patrol on East Calvert Hill Road when a lady ran up to his patrol car with a small child. The child’s eyes were rolled back and her lips were blue.
Marshall-Isom administered several palm strikes between her shoulder blades. He continued until the child grabbed his thumb and began breathing again.
Marshall-Isom’s heroic actions were recognized at the Sheriff’s Office annual Christmas Luncheon.
