Human Trafficking Bill Passes House
The Missouri house has passed a bill that is going to make the phone number for the National Human Trafficking Hotline more visible.
House lawmakers voted 139 to 5 in favor of sending the proposal to the Senate today. [Wednesday]
The bill requires truck stops, bus stations and some hotels to hang posters in or near bathrooms.
This is one of several bills aimed at combating human trafficking in Missouri.
