Two Arrested On Drug Charges in Centralia

Two people were arrested after Centralia Police were called to the Dollar General parking lot for a suspicious vehicle yesterday. [Tuesday]

Lucinda R. Levings of Madison and Michael Baker of Mexico were in the car.

Levings was taken into custody on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and first degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Baker is facing second degree trafficking of drugs, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance.

He was arrested in January on similar charges in Audrain County.

Levings posted the required bond and was released.

Baker was taken to the Boone County Jail to await the court to set a bond.
