The Mexico Bulldogs girls won their final game of the regular season against the Fulton Hornets 53-43.

The Mexico Boys will play in Fulton tonight (Friday) and try to avenge a point loss from earlier in the year.

The 11th ranked Missouri Tigers Women’s Basketball Team beat Vanderbilt 83-68 last (Thursday) night.

It was senior night and Jordan Frericks, Kayla Michael, and Bri Porter were honored.

Frericks recorded her 28th career double-double finishing with 16 points, and 12 rebounds, plus nine assists.

Mizzou racked up 50 first half points in the win.

 

The St. Louis Cardinals have their Grapefruit League opener against the Miami Marlins today (Friday).

The Cardinals and Marlins will be wearing hats that honor the victims of last week’s mass shooting at a Florida high school.

Jack Flaherty will be the Redbirds starting pitcher.

 

Other girls action high school action saw Moberly defeat Marshall 51 to 43. Jefferson City over Hickman 54-33, New Bloomfield beats Eugene 57-51.

Rock Bridge 76 Helias 48. Community R-6 over Chamois 54-46.

Madison takes out Wellsville 57-40. On the boys side of things St. James edges out Southern Boone 64-61.

Tolton a one point winner over Blair Oaks 49-48.
