One man is facing charges after a boat crash at the Lake of the Ozarks yesterday. [Wednesday]
According to the Highway Patrol’s Incident report, 46 year old Richard Rief of Eureka was attempting to back a vessel into his slip. Rief then went forward instead of backward, causing the vessel to hit another dock.
Rief was arrested on suspicion of boating while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a vessel accident. He was taken to the Camden County Jail, and has since been released.
