Galloway To Audit Callaway Collector’s Office

Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway is expediting the audit of the Callaway County Collector’s Office.

According to Galloway, county officials are working with the state auditor because of their expertise in investigating suspicious or improper activity.

Missouri law requires the governor to appoint a county collector when a vacancy in the office occurs.

Galloway is requesting to the county take action to allow for work to begin before a new collector takes place.
