The St. Louis Cardinals now have 40 people on their roster after sending 6 to the minor leagues over the weekend.
Two notable names that are going to Triple A Memphis are catcher Carson Kelly and pitcher Jack Flaherty.
Kelly, thought to be the number 2 catching prospect in baseball, rose to be the back up to Yadier Molina last season.
He is expected to be the starting catcher in Memphis this season, unless something happens to Molina.
Flaherty will likely be pulled up if the Cards need to fill a hole in their starting rotation. He will also be a regular starter in Memphis, along with John Gant, who was also optioned to Memphis.
Cleveland Cavaliers Coach and Mexico Native, Tyronne Lue has taken a leave of absence from coaching duties to focus on his health. In a statement, he said he had been having chest pain made worse by lack of rest. Tests have so far not revealed the cause of the issue.
