A Jefferson City man will spend 25 years and 10 months in federal prison without the possibility of parole for possessing methamphetamine in the trunk of his car after it was stalled at an intersection in Grandview.
57 year old Michael A. Green was sentenced as a career offender due to his prior criminal convictions.
Green admitted he was behind the wheel of a vehicle parked at an intersection of a city street. Grandview Police decided to tow the vehicle and conducted an inventory search before towing. The search uncovered a shoebox containing more than 400 grams of meth.
