A new director of preschool next year for the Columbia School district is being recommended.
Nicole Langston will be recommended to take over the position to the Columbia Board of Education at next months meeting.
Langston will has been the principal at Southwest Early Childhood Center in Jefferson City for the last nine years.
She will replace the current director Mary Rook who is set to retire at the end of the school year.
