KXEO Sports Report for 5/25/18:MU Settles Lawsuit, Royals Win Again, Rockets Close To Making Finals Appearance

The University of Missouri is agreeing to pay fifty thousand dollars in order to settle a lawsuit with South Carolina Women’s Basketball head Coach Dawn Staley.

The lawsuit was filed after Missouri Athletic Director Jim Sterk said fans of South Carolina used racial slurs and spit on his players after a game in January.

Sterk released a statement yesterday (Thursday) apologizing for his comments, and Staley accepted Sterk’s apology in a press release.
