Storms Roll Through Mid-Missouri, Causing Damage

Strong and severe storms are making their way through mid-Missouri.

61 counties in the state are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 10:00 tonight [Monday] according to the National Weather Service.

Storms that have already moved through Audrain County have knocked down power lines and trees, and have damaged the roof of a church in Mexico.

Traffic is being redirected on North Western Street due to downed power lines.

Winds have been measured in Vandiver of reaching 63 miles per hour.

A pole barn in Bellflower was blown down

Randolph County reported quarter sized hail.

In Columbia, a large section of tree was blown down near West Middle School, damaging 3 unoccupied vehicles.

A mobile home in Northeast Columbia sustained roof damage.
