On Monday, 150 students will graduate from Mexico High School, but not before earning more than 970 thousand dollars in scholarships.
According to Gail Lankford, seniors are being awarded a total of $982,004 at the awards assembly tomorrow. [Friday]
Lankford confirmed this is one of the largest amounts awarded to a graduating class.
Out of that number, seven have qualified for Bright Flight scholarships by earning a score of at least 31 on the ACT test.
Nine students will be honored as valedictorians for maintaining a 4.0 throughout high school and scoring at least 26 on their ACT.
