With the heat advisories and warnings in the area over the next several days the Audrain County Health Department is dropping its normal requirements to be eligible for a fan.
Now to be eligible for the fan, you just have to be a resident of Audrain County and not have air conditioning in the home.
One fan per household will be allowed.
The department says the new eligibility for the fan will be in effect as long as we are under the heat advisories or warnings.
