Mizzou Men’s Basketball opened up the first game of the season with an 82-42 route of Incarnate Word at Mizzou Arena last (Wednesday) night.
The Tigers were led by junior forward Jeremiah Tilmon, Jr. who collected a career high 5 blocks and poured in 16 points.
The Tigers defense forced 21 turnovers and held their opposition to just 27 percent shooting from the field.
Mizzou will play again tomorrow (Friday) night at home against Northern Kentucky.
The St. Louis Blues extended their winning streak to 6 games with a 5-2 road victory against the Edmonton Oilers last (Wednesday) night.
Alex Pietrangelo had a goal and 2 assists, Jaden Schwartz had a goal and an assist, and Jake Allen made 32 saves for the Blues who have now won eight of their last 9 games.
St. Louis is back on the ice on Saturday when they face the Calgary Flames.
