Man Pleads Guilty For Fatal Bus Crash

A Boone County man entered a guilty plea in relation to a 2017 bus crash that killed Harrisburg School Teacher, Brian Simpson.

Brandon Brill waived formal arraignment, and entered a guilty plea to the lesser charges of involuntary manslaughter and assault.

He was originally charged with second degree murder.

The accident happened when Brill crossed the center line on Route F and hit the bus, driven by Simpson, head on on September 28.

Five members of the cross country team were on the bus, and were also injured.
