Attorney General Opens Criminal Investigation In Duck Boat Sinking

Missouri Attorney General, Josh Hawley, has opened a criminal investigation into the circumstances that led to a duck boat sinking in Branson, killing 17 people.

The investigation is being conducted under the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act.

Investigators are working to determine whether criminal charges are appropriate.

The duck boat sank July 19 on Table Rock Lake after a storm blew in quickly, causing the boat to capsize.
