The Missouri Department of Transportation is reminding motorists to watch out for water on roadways and to slow down.
MoDot is offering safety tips that include never driving past a barricade closing roads, have headlights on if wipers are on, don’t use cruise control on wet roads, and give trucks extra room in rainy conditions.
MoDot will be monitoring conditions throughout the weekend.
