One Arrested, One At Large In August Robbery
A suspect wanted in relation to an August 16 bank Robbery at Central Bank of Boone County was apprehended by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
Forty four year old Richard Welty was identified during the investigation as a suspect in the robbery who allegedly drove the car in which 42 year old Randall G. Shaw left in after delivering a note to a teller demanding money and indicating he had a weapon.
Welty was arrested on suspicion of 1st degree robbery and transported to the Boone County Jail.
Shaw has not yet been located. He is a white male, 6 feet tall and 160 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair, although his head was shaved at the time of the robbery. He has a tattoo on his right upper arm of a heart and a cross.
