Centralia Man Taken By Air Flight After Motorcycle Accident in Mexico

A Centralia man is recovering from moderate injuries after being air lifted for injuries suffered during  a motorcycle accident in Mexico yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

According to Mexico Public Safety it happened just after 2:30 on Morris Street at Liberty.

The accident report reads 36 year old William Cooper was on his 2002 Harley Davidson and improperly passing a City of Mexico Street sweeper when he started side sliding into a vehicle driven by 18 year old Brianna Case of Mexico who was uninjured in the accident.

Cooper was taken to the University Hospital in Columbia with moderate injuries.
