A Sedalia man is dead after an accident in Cole County on Saturday night.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened when 21 year old Darius Patterson of Jefferson City tried to cross Highway 50 westbound at Lookout Trail and pulled out in front of 49 year old Michael Poindexter of Sedalia causing him to be ejected from his motorcycle.
Poindexter was pronounced dead at the scene.
