Missouri did very well at the 91st National FFA Convention this year. Almost seventy thousand students nationwide were in attendance at the convention in Indianapolis held last month.
518 recipients from Missouri earned American FFA Degrees.
Centralia R-VI student Austin Stanton earned the American Star Farmer Award.
Stanton operates a farm that sells eggs from more than fifteen thousand hens to local restaurants, and local grocery store chains.
The Paris R-II FFA Chapter was selected as a top 10 of Excellence Program. A total of 31 Missouri Chapters received the highest available chapter rating.
