A 36 year old man is recovering from minor injuries after rear-ending a dump truck on U.S. 54 near Auxvasse just before 10:00 this morning.[Thursday]
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Raymond Nelson of Halls, Tennessee hit the back of a dump truck driven by 31 year old Matthew Patterson of Centralia when Patterson was merging onto the highway.
Neither driver was transported for medical care.
Law enforcement conducted a controlled detonation after a suspicious package was located today [Friday] in Holts Summit. The package was reported at City Hall just after 10:00 this morning.
