Bulldogs Basketball With Road Doubleheader, Chiefs Slip Up Against Chargers

It is a road double header for the Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams against the Hannibal Pirates tonight (Friday).

Mexico girls tip off at 6:30.

The lady dogs are coming off a dominant win on Tuesday night against Kirksville.

The Hannibal girls defeated Moberly their last game.

Mexico is 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the NCMC, Hannibal sports a 4-3 record and is 1-0 in the conference.

The boys will tip off at 8:00.

The Mexico Boys are looking for two in a row when they face the Hannibal Pirates tonight (Friday).

Mexico boys defeated Kirksville earlier this week in a close contest.

Hannibal boys defeated Moberly earlier this week.

Mexico is 1-2 on the year and 1-1 in the conference while Hannibal is 5-2 and 2-0 in the conference.

A stunned crowd at Arrowhead stadium last (Thursday) night witnessed the Kansas City Chiefs lose 29-28 in the final seconds to the San Diego Chargers.

The Chiefs lead through out the entire game until Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers pulled off a game winning touchdown and two point conversion.

The Chiefs and Chargers are now both 11-3 overall, however Kansas City still leads the AFC West over the Chargers. San Diego will face the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos for their final games.

The Chiefs have games remaining with the Seattle Seahawks and the Oakland Raiders.
