Columbia Planned Parenthood is requesting a court decision to allow them to resume abortions.
The clinic passed a state inspection and wants a federal district court to issue an order that will bar the state of Missouri from enforcing a law requiring hospital privileges for doctors at the their facility.
Abortion services stopped at the Columbia Planned Parenthood on October 1st after a court ruling enforced the states requirement for doctors with hospital privileges at the clinic.
As of now the only place to get an abortion in the state is the Planned Parenthood in St. Louis.
The Columbia Planned Parenthood are seeking a decision before January 28th.
