New Attorney General To Be Sworn in Thursday

Missouri’s new Attorney General, Eric Schmitt, will be sworn in tomorrow [Thursday] in Jefferson City.

Schmitt has been appointed by Governor Mike Parson to replace Senate-Elect Josh Hawley.

Schmitt has served as the 46th treasurer of the state since January 9, 2017.

The ceremony will take place in the main lobby of the Missouri Supreme Court at 11:05. Missouri Supreme Court Justice Zel Fischer will swear Schmitt in.
