Missouri’s new Attorney General, Eric Schmitt, will be sworn in tomorrow [Thursday] in Jefferson City.
Schmitt has been appointed by Governor Mike Parson to replace Senate-Elect Josh Hawley.
Schmitt has served as the 46th treasurer of the state since January 9, 2017.
The ceremony will take place in the main lobby of the Missouri Supreme Court at 11:05. Missouri Supreme Court Justice Zel Fischer will swear Schmitt in.

The St. Louis Blues moved into the New Year with several roster moves yesterday (Tuesday). Defenseman Chris Butler and forward Jordan Nolan were placed on waivers. According to the health department as of 11:30 this (Tuesday) morning 71 county residents have been tested for COVID-19.
