The Mexico Lady Bulldogs fell to the Southern Boone Eagles 52 to 41 in the opening round of the California Girls Tournament last (Monday) night.
Head Coach Ed Costley reports the girls played a really good first half, with the offense going stagnate in the third quarter.
Raigan Playter and Shelbi Shaw had 11 points each and Logan Blevins finished with 10.
Mexico will play again tomorrow (Wednesday) at 4:30 against Rock Bridge JV.
In other girls action South Callaway defeated North Callaway 56-34 in the first round of the South Callaway Tournament.
South Callaway’s Regan Brown had 19 points and Delaney Parsman had 18.
Kinsey Ashfall for North Callaway had 14, that included three from three point land.

The Clemson Tigers are this years college football’s national champions routing the Alabama Crimson Tide 44-16 last (Monday) night.
The Tigers are the first team in the Associated Press Poll Era to finish 15-0 dating back to 1936.
