The North Callaway Boy’s beat Clopton 59-56 in the opening round of the Bowling Green Tournament last (Tuesday) night.

The Thunderbird’s improved to 15-3 and have now won 13 of their fourteen games.

North Callaway’s Jabe Cash was money throwing down 26 points and sinking 5 three pointers.


The Kansas City Chiefs have fired defensive coordinator Bob Sutton.

He was relieved of his duties after Sunday’s 37-31 loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.

The Chiefs were among the worst defenses in the NFL this past season, allowing an average of 405.5 total yards per game.

The 67 year old Sutton, had been with the Chiefs since 2013.

Head Coach Andy Reid did not say whether Sutton’s replacement would be promoted from within his current staff.

The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team will be action tonight (Wednesday) on the road for another conference game when they face the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Mizzou is coming off their first conference win over Texas A and M where they won by 21 points. Tip off is scheduled for 8.
