A Columbia man has entered a guilty plea in federal court today [Tuesday] for his role in a conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
Nader Robert Osama Yanis was arrested when law enforcement executed a search warrant on a home on February 19, 2018. Police had previously witnessed a delivery of a crate that contained 72 pounds of marijuana to the address.
The search revealed an additional 33 pounds of marijuana, 8 firearms and $72 thousand in cash.
Yanis is subject to a sentence of up to 20 years in federal prison.
