Two Injured In Moniteau Crash

Two people were seriously injured in a fiery car crash [Wednesday] in Moniteau County around 10:45 this morning

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30 year old David Hashagen of Sturgeon failed to negotiate a curve and overcorrected twice before leaving the left side of the road and struck a tree.

The car came to rest in a ditch, then caught fire.

Hashagen, and his passenger 20 year old Mellissa Hall of Columbia were transported to University Hospital by ambulance.
