The wind is reportedly the cause of a small plane flipping at the Omar Bradley Airport in Moberly around 2:00 this afternoon. [Friday]
The plane, a Piper Cub, was traveling from Omaha, Nebraska to North Carolina when it landed in Moberly to refuel.
The plane landed safely, but was caught by a gust of wind while taxiing toward the fuel pumps.
No one was injured. The name of the pilot has not yet been released.
