Three new Green Energy Biogas Plants are getting set to be built in Eastern Audrain County.
Green Energy Sustainable Solutions is making the announcement today (Friday) the plants will bring more than 145 million dollars in investment into the communities.
The plants will utilize tons of swine waste, and tons of green biomass, to produce renewable gas usage for the equivalent of 6,800 homes energy usage.
Each plant is estimated to cost around 45 million dollars.
The jobs will start at around fifty thousand dollars per year.
The plants in eastern Audrain County will be in the Laddonia and Vandalia area, with each plant employing around 20 people.
Construction is slated to start in July this year and the plants are expected to be fully operational around the latter part of 2020.
