The Marion County Prosecutor upgraded charges against a Hannibal man today [Friday] after an assault that led to the death of 43 year old Gregory Stanley.
Damien Fugate is accused of causing a disturbance at the restaurant on March 24, being verbally abusive to customers and assaulting Stanley, who was taken to Blessing Hospital where he died on Wednesday night.
According to court records, Fugate is now charged with a single count of involuntary manslaughter. He was originally charged with second degree assault.
