The Missouri Tigers baseball team dropped the series opener to the Kentucky Wildcats 4-2 last (Friday) night.
The Tigers were riding high with a quick 2-0 lead in the first inning, however runs in the 4th, 6th, and 8th innings by the visiting Wildcats proved to be too much.
Mizzou and Kentucky will play game two of there series this afternoon at 2 from Columbia’s Taylor Stadium.

Cardinals slugger Paul Goldschmidt hit his 5th home run of the year, and Paul Dejong also hit a round tripper in the loss.
