Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt has awarded more than four dozen Missouri Hospitals a “Healthcare Community Partner Award” for completing 100 percent of the inventory of untested sexual assault kits.
Schmitt’s office has made testing the more than 5 thousand kits in the state a priority in his tenure.
Area hospitals to receive the distinction include Capital Region Medical Center, Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Hermann Area District Hospital, Landmark Hospital and Pinnacle Regional Hospital.
