University To Reallocate Nearly $25 Million

University of Missouri Chancellor Alexander Cartwright announced approximately $25 million will be reallocated and used for scholarships, employee raises and research.

The money will result in budget reductions of around 10 percent for the Chancellor’s Office, the Office of Advancement and the Office of the Provost.

According to a statement from the University, most reallocation costs will be absorbed through attrition, not filling empty positions or other department actions.
