The Mexico Bulldogs Baseball team have a road game tonight (Tuesday) against the Boonville Pirates.
The Bulldogs come into the game with a 6-10 record while the Pirates are 10-6.
Varsity starts at 5 with JV to follow.
The St. Louis Cardinals offense came alive with a 13-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch Stadium last (Monday) night.
It was a season high 18 hits for the Redbirds that saw Dexter Fowler hit his first home run of the year.
Fowler had a four hit night and has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games. Paul Goldschmidt had 3 hits, including a two run bomb in the fifth inning.
The Kansas City Royals lost 6-3 on the road to the Tampa Bay Rays. Kansas City slugger Hunter Dozier belted his team leading seventh home run in the loss.
The St. Louis Blues will be facing the Dallas Stars in the second round of playoffs.
The Stars eliminated Nashville 2-1 last (Monday) night to advance.
The Blues will have home ice advantage in the series.
The last time the two teams met in the playoffs was 2016, St. Louis beat Dallas in seven games.
