Lawn Mowing Injuries On The Rise In Emergency Rooms
With the start of spring an increase in emergency room visits from lawn mowing injuries is on the rise.
A recent report suggests a quarter of a million people will be seen in emergency rooms with injuries associated with lawn mowers.

Dr. Christopher Sampson with MU Health Care says the most severe injuries are cuts and amputations.
Dr. Sampson says if someone has sustained a serious injury while mowing it is best to call 911 to get EMS to them as soon as possible.
