Sturgeon Alderman Vote To Fire Police Chief For A Second Time

The Sturgeon Board of Alderman has voted for a second time to remove Police Chief Greg Halderman from his position today. [Tuesday]

The city terminated Halderman’s employment in May of 2017 amidst allegations of inappropriate behavior and alcohol abuse. In March, a Boone County Judge ordered Halderman be reinstated with back pay.

Today’s vote was 3 to 1 in favor of removing him as chief.

The reasoning for their decision has not yet been released.
