The Missouri Women’s basketball team is announcing several transfers.
Coach Pingeton announced yesterday (Wednesday) that St. Louis native Renetha “Shug” Dickson will be joining her team.
Dickson, is a 5-9 guard who spent 2 seasons at Tulsa where she earned American All-Freshman Team honors in 2016-2017.
Coach Pingeton also announced they added 6 foot 4 forward LaDazhia Williams to the program.
Williams have to sit out the upcoming season, due to NCAA transfer requirements, then will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
Williams is a five star recruit and top 50 prospect from the Class of 2017, and has spent the last two seasons at South Carolina.
The St. Louis Cardinals shut out 4-0 by the Atlanta Braves last (Wednesday) night.
The Cardinals were unable to get their offense going just one game after putting up 14 runs.
The Kansas City Royals lost 6-1 to the Texas Rangers.
Kansas City’s starting pitcher Jorge Lopez worked 5 and 2/3 innings and gave up 7 hits and five runs in the loss.
The St. Louis Blues dropped game 3 of the Western Conference Final 5-4 to the San Jose Sharks in overtime last (Wednesday) night.
San Jose now has a 2-1 lead in the best of seven series.
Game 4 is Friday night in St. Louis.
