The National Weather Service is reporting a chance for severe thunderstorms today across mid-Missouri.
The best timing for the storms will be between 3 and 9 PM, with damaging winds and large hail being the main threats.
The storms are predicted to move out of the area quickly and will leave the temperatures cooler heading into Sunday.
