Mexico Bus Inspection Earns Perfect Score

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released the results of the annual school bus inspection.

Nearly 12 thousand school buses statewide were inspected. Buses found to have no defective items are rated as “approved.” Buses having one or more defective items that do not constitute an immediate danger are rated as “defective” and buses with an issue that could be a danger are listed as “out-of-service.”

In the Mexico School district all 29 buses were approved. Out of Centralia’s buses, 14 of the 18 were approved. Twenty six of Moberly’s 27 buses passed inspection and in North Callaway, 16 out of 21 passed inspection with three being out-of-service.
