Governor Mike Parson ordered U.S. and Missouri flags to be flown at half-staff on Monday in honor of Representative Rebecca Roeber, who died unexpectedly on July 30.
Representative Roeber was elected to to office in 2014 after serving as an educator for 17 years.
The flags will be flown at half-staff in honor of her being laid to rest.
