Mid-Missouri could see another round of extreme heat for the beginning of the week.
The National Weather Service reports a combination of dangerous heat and humidity is likely on Monday in the afternoon and in the early evening.
Heat index values are expected to be between 105 and 110 degrees.
The NWS recommends avoiding strenuous activity, drink plenty of water and never leave kids or pets in cars.
