Hy-Vee issued a statement today [Wednesday] regarding an ongoing investigation into a data incident involving its payment systems.
The company recently detected unauthorized activity on some payment processing systems. An investigation was immediately launched with the help of cybersecurity firms.
The investigation is focused on card transactions at fuel pumps, drive-thru coffee shops and restaurants.
Hy-Vee is advising consumers closely monitor payment card statements for unauthorized activity.
