Planned Parenthood in Columbia is predicting cuts in federal funding will prevent women in central Missouri from receiving preventative health care.

The Trump Administration’s Protect Life Rule bans any recipient of federal family planning funds from offering abortion services or referring a pregnant patient to a health care provider who performs abortions.

The funding cut will impact preventative services such as birth control. STD testing and cancer screenings.
