Hayley Mills will get the start for the Bulldogs after missing a game last week with shoulder soreness against the Hannibal Pirates.

The St. Louis Cardinals with a 4-2 win over the Washington Nationals at Busch Stadium last (Monday) night.
Marcell Ozuna drove in all four Cardinals’ runs, including a 2 run shot that went 412 feet into the center field seats.
With the win the Cardinals remain 2 games ahead of the 2nd place Chicago Cubs in the National League Central.

The Kansas City Royals with a 6-5 road win against the Oakland Athletics.
Kansas City slugger Jorge Soler is closing in on the American League home run crown, hitting number 45 on the year, that matches the league-leading figure amassed by the Angels Mike Trout who is out with an injury.

The St. Louis Blues opened up preseason hockey with a 2-0 win over the Dallas Stars on the road last (Monday) night.
The Blues controlled possession and had the puck in the Dallas end for much of the first 2 periods.
The Stars did not have their first shot on goal until only 4 minutes remained in the opening period.
The Blues remain on the road for their next preseason game tomorrow (Wednesday) against the Washington Capitals.

In NFL Monday Night Football the Cleveland Browns picked up their first win of the season defeating the New York Jets 23-3.
