In NHL preseason the St. Louis Blues lost to the Dallas Stars 2-1.

The St. Louis Blues with a blockbuster trade yesterday (Tuesday) that is sending Joel Edmundson to the Carolina Hurricanes.
The deal seemingly came out of nowhere.
The Blues get Justin Faulk as well as a fifth round pick in 2020.
Faulk gets a 7 year extension that will kick after the 2019-2020 season.
Carolina will pick up a chunk of his salary as well, which helps the Blues in their salary cap crunch.
