MSHP Urges Caution On Roads As Conditions Change

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is advising drivers to pay attention to changing weather conditions as a combination of snow, rain and cold temperatures over the next few days can make driving more hazardous.

The patrol is urging drivers to use their headlights and reduce speed when the roadway appears wet or snow is present. They say to not use cruise control and increase following distance. It is impossible to stop quickly on snow covered or slick roads, and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Road conditions can be viewed on the MoDOT Traveler Information Map.
