The 5th annual Trunk or Treat in downtown Mexico is still a go tonight (Thursday).
According to the one of the event organizers Elizabeth Hoover despite the inclement weather the trunk or treat will be held outside around the courthouse on the square.
Over 30 local vendors will be at the event.
Everyone is asked to dress warmly for tonight’s festivities.
It starts at 6pm and will run until around 8pm.
